What It Does

Our Clay Bar safely removes embedded environmental contaminants from your vehicle’s clear coat, leaving the surface smooth and ready for protection. When used with Maestro’s Magic Waterless Wash & Wax, it enhances results and helps extend the life of your finish.

How to Use

1. Work on a cool surface in sections about 2’ x 2’. Avoid hot panels or glass, as the product may evaporate too quickly and become difficult to remove.
2. For extended use, cut the clay bar in half and store the unused portion.
3. Knead the clay until pliable, then flatten into a disc.
4. Lightly mist the panel with Maestro’s Magic to act as a lubricant.
5. Using light to medium pressure, glide the clay bar over the surface using a left-to-right and top-to-bottom motion.
6. As contaminants are removed, you will feel the surface become noticeably smoother.
7. Wipe the area clean with a microfiber towel. If streaking occurs, switch to a dry towel.
8. Repeat until the entire vehicle is complete.
9. Continue kneading the clay throughout use to expose a clean surface.
10. Dispose of the clay when it no longer removes contaminants or becomes heavily discolored.

Pro Tip: Cutting the bar in half allows you to save a fresh piece for later and easily compare when it’s time to replace the clay.
